Masterclass: “Dimensions of Forensic Evidence under Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, 2023”

The Criminal Law Club organised a Master Class on “Dimensions of Forensic Evidence under Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, 2023” on 8th September 2026 at the Smart Classroom, GRKCL. The session was conducted from 10:00 am to 11:00 am and was led by Dr. Madhu Ghodkirekar, Associate Professor and HoD of Forensic Medicine at Goa Medical College.

 

Dr. Ghodkirekar discussed the importance of forensic evidence in the criminal justice process and its relevance within the evidentiary framework of the Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, 2023. The session provided students with an interdisciplinary perspective on the interface between forensic medicine, scientific evidence and criminal law, thereby helping them appreciate the practical significance of forensic evidence in legal proceedings.
