GRK Master Class on ‘Migration and Human Rights’

The International Law Society of VVM’s Govind Ramnath Kare College of Law, in association with its MoU partner, the Faculty of Law, University of Lisbon, Portugal, organized a GRK Master Class on the topic ‘Migration and Human Rights’ for the students of the institution. Professor Dr. Ana Rita Gil from the Faculty of Law at the University of Lisbon, Portugal, served as the guest speaker for the GRK Masterclass. During her address, Professor Gil delved into various facets of migration and human rights, shedding light on real-life cases to illustrate the challenges. She explored the necessity of striking a balance between state sovereignty and the rights of migrants concerning migration and human rights on the international stage. The session concluded with an engaging question and answer segment.
