
Faculty Training and Development Programme
A One Day Faculty Training and Development Programme (FTDP) was held on 7th July 2026 from 12.00 noon to 1.30 pm in the smart classroom. Ms. Ashita Ranjit, Head, Training and Develpoment, VVM. was the Resource Person for the said programme. “Enhancing Classroom: Student Engagement in Teaching Learning”, was the theme of the FTDP. The FTDP was an effort to create a holistic, welcoming, inclusive and supportive environment towards greater student participation. The pedagogical framework was focused on boosting engaging Learning Techniques at the same time aiming at training educators to shift from passive, monologues and teaching centric lectures to active, interactive student centric classrooms, challenging students through critical thinking, problem-solving and deep reflection. The Resource person of the session emphasised that energies of the teacher impact the classroom atmosphere and students, engagement is a prerequisite towards academic success, strong boundaries have to be enforced to instil professionalism and authority, evidence based instructions forms an unshakable foundation. The importance of modern pedagogical approaches was also emphasised.Faculty of the BALLB as well as LLB DEGREE attended and benefitted from the programme
