GRK Master Class on the Law of Taxation

The Taxation Cell of VVM’s G.R. Kare College of Law, Margao – Goa conducted GRK Master Class in the subject of Law of Taxation on 14^th September 2023 at 11.30 am. The Resource Person for the session was CA Shrinivas Shrikant Prabhu.

The topics of the Masterclass were:

1. a) The Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 : An overview
2. b) Practical aspect of filing of Income Tax Returns

The Resource Person highlighted the basic concepts and legal provisions of The Goods and Services Act, 2017 and told the students regarding the practical working of the GST in day to day life. While speaking on the second topic, he gave practical demo on filing income tax returns, which exposed students to the working of Taxation. The session was followed by queries raised by students to clear doubts.

Session was attended by students of Final year BALLB Programme (5^th year BALLB) and was co-ordinated by Asst. Prof. Ms. Pooja Naik Gaonkar and Asst. Prof. Mr. Sapresh Devidas.
