Teacher’s Day Celebration at GRKCL

The Students’ Council of VVM’s Govind Ramnath Kare College of Law organized Teacher’s Day Celebration on Saturday, 5th September 2026 at 11:30 AM in the GD Hall. The celebration was conducted with great enthusiasm and heartfelt gratitude to honour and appreciate the teachers of the institution. The theme of the celebration was “From Roots to Wings – Teachers as the roots that help students grow and eventually fly.”

The programme commenced with a warm welcome to the teachers, followed by a prayer service seeking blessings for their continued well-being and success. The celebration also featured a creative “Back to Campus” concept, inviting teachers to relive the spirit of their student days through a fun and nostalgic college-style celebration. A ramp walk, with teachers participating in pairs, added an energetic beginning to the programme.

The cultural segment included engaging performances, interactive activities and games organized especially for the teachers. The games and spot-prize activities encouraged enthusiastic participation and created a lively atmosphere. Students and teachers came together throughout the programme, making the celebration warm, informal and memorable. The event also included the presentation of flowers and tokens of appreciation to the teachers as a gesture of gratitude from the students.

The celebration concluded with a cake-cutting ceremony and a group photograph with the teachers and student volunteers. The event was made possible through the coordinated efforts of the Students’ Council, Cultural Committee, student volunteers, performers, games organizers, decoration team, comperes and the students who participated in the various activities. Their collective effort helped create a meaningful celebration that reflected the gratitude and affection students hold for their teachers.
