MASTER CLASS ON THE TOPIC “INTEGRATION OF GOA”
VVM’s Govind Ramnath Kare College of Law in association with Carmel College for Women, Nuvem Goa, its MoU partner, organized an Online Master Class on the topic “Integration of Goa” for the students of third year B.A.LLb on 21st November 2020. The said master class was held under the supervision of Ms. Sonali S. Dhamsekar, Assistant Professor.
The objective of the programme was to make students understand the process of integration of Goa, former colony of Portugal into the Indian Union.
The Guest Speaker for the said Master Class on the topic was Ms. Luise Ann Sequeira, HOD and Assistant Professor, Department of Political Science, Carmel College for Women, Nuvem Goa.
Ms. Luise Ann Sequeira in her address covered the various aspects such as reasons for the imposition of military rule in Goa, administrative changes after liberation and problems faced by the Goans during the transition period on account of integration.
The participants were actively involved in the session by clarifying their doubts in relation to the topic. Ms. Cher Noronha, student of third year BALLB proposed vote of thanks.
