Masterclass: “Land, Law & Revenue: Navigating the Goa Land Revenue Code, 1968”

The Masterclass titled “Land, Law & Revenue: Navigating the Goa Land Revenue Code, 1968” was organized by VVM’s Govind Ramnath Kare College of Law, Margao – Goa, on 18th August 2026 at the G. D. Auditorium, starting at 12:30 PM. The event commenced with the Compere extending a warm welcome to the distinguished gathering, including the Resource Person, faculty members, and students. Following the welcome, the Compere formally introduced the Resource Person, Mr. Narayan Das Agrawal, Ex-Collector and District Magistrate of South Goa, highlighting his distinguished career and rich administrative expertise in land revenue laws. Mr. Agrawal then delivered an insightful presentation, providing a comprehensive overview of the Goa Land Revenue Code, 1968, and elucidating key statutory concepts, land classification mechanisms, and practical revenue procedures. Thereafter, an interactive Question and Answer session was conducted, allowing students and attendees to seek clarifications directly from the expert on complex land law topics.

The event concluded seamlessly with a formal Vote of Thanks expressing sincere gratitude to the Resource Person, Vice Principle, organizers, and participants for making the Masterclass a success.
