Dr. Shruti Nadkarni is a post graduate in Law from Goa University & has completed M. Phil(Law) in year 2009 She has been awarded a doctorate degree by Goa university in the year 2020 on the Topic ‘Implementation of the Goa Children’s Act 2003 with Special Reference to the Protection of the Girl Child in the State of Goa- A Critical Study’. She is an alumnus of V. M. Salgaocar college of Law Miramar. She was awarded the prestigious Prof. V. S. Mallar’s Gold Medal for securing highest marks in Constitutional Law at the LL. M. examination. She has served as lecturer in Law at V. M. Salgaocar College of Law, Miramar, Goa for 4 years before joining G. R. Kare College of Law, Margao, Goa as Assistant Professor in 2008. She is also PG recognized faculty for LL.M programme and a counselor for legal courses of IGNOU. She was the course coordinator and lecturer in Post Graduate Diploma in Labour Law at G. R. Kare College of Law. She has contributed to a book on Land Laws of Goa, and also has research articles on socio-legal topics to her credit. She was the associate editor of Lexpressions, a Law Journal, in 2006 of V. M. Salgaocar College of Law, Miramar. She has presented papers on legal topics in national level seminars and delivered lectures on legal topics in various colleges across Goa. She has also co-authored a book on Socio Legal topics titled ‘Law & You’ in the year 2011. She has practiced Law in various Courts in Goa before joining teaching profession.
