SOCIO-LEGAL AWARENESS THROUGH STREET PLAY – DAVORLIM LEGAL AID CELL
The Davorlim Legal Aid Cell of V.V.Ms G.R.Kare College of Law conducted Street plays at various locations for creating awareness on certain socio-legal issues.
Title of these street plays was-
- Right to education for children
- Leprosy Awareness
Volunteer students prepared content on these topics and conducted street plays at public places.
Content of the street play was pertaining following issues-
- No violence against students by teachers
- Right to education for disabled
- Mid-day meal scheme
- Basic infrastructure of primary education
- Anti raging policy.
Volunteers also interacted with the public and spread awareness. Pamphlets were distributed and posters were displayed.
Leprosy awareness drive in the rural areas for the locals was done, posters were displayed and volunteers interacted with the locals.
