Report on the 1st National Level Criminal Judgement Writing Competition at Agnel School of Law, Navi Mumbai
VVM’s G.R. Kare College of Law, Margao, Goa was declared the first Runner-up at the First National Level Criminal Judgement Writing Competition, hosted by Agnel School of Law, Navi Mumbai on 28th September 2024. Mr. Ronal Fernandes from the 4th Year B.A.LL.B. and Ms. Samruddhi Bhomkar from the 5th Year B.A.LL.B. represented the college at the said competition. The judgment writing challenge focused on a theft case, allowing participants to demonstrate their drafting skills and imaginative reasoning regarding the facts. They successfully crafted a judgment by integrating relevant legal statutes, precedents, and the facts of the case. Mr. Ronal Fernandes bagged the first Runner-up trophy awarded to him in the presence of S.P. Aggarwal, Principal District Judge, Thane.
