MoU extension with University of Coimbra, Portugal

After a successful run of three years, the cooperation agreement between GRKCL and University of Coimbra has been extended for another term as the institution continues its strong ties with this prestigious 13th century University. The extension took place at the University of Coimbra on 11^th May 2023 with representatives from the institutions, Principal of G. R. Kare College of Law Dr. Saba V. M. D’Silva and the Vice-Rector for External Relations and UC Alumni University of Coimbra Dr. João Nuno Cruz Matos Calvão da Silva. This MoU caters to academic, scientific and cultural cooperation which is established through a curricular unit of Portuguese Civil Law. There will be additional focus on the scientific field of Criminal Law, Human Rights Law, Intellectual property rights Law, Artificial Intelligence and International Law, through students’ exchange, teaching and academic higher level staff exchange, joint participation and conduct of seminars, conferences, congresses and other such events.
