FAREWELL AND FELICITATION OF RANGA BAHADUR GURKHA
Mr. Ranga Bhadur Gurkha MTS (Watchman) of the institution completed superannuation on the 30th September 2020 after 28 long years of dedicated service. As a token of appreciation the institution accorded him a warm farewell as well as a felicitation on the day in the auditorium of the Institution in the presence of the member/s of the Management, the Principal, Faculty and administrative staff.
Ms. Goretti Simoes, Assistant Professor & IQAC Coordinator welcomed the gathering on behalf of the Principal. The Principal’s address was read out by Mr. Anand Salve, the Librarian
Mr. Pritam Morais, 2nd Vice-President VVM represented the Management and the Governing Council of the Institution. In his address he recalled the felicitee as a warm and smiling human being and a patient and dutiful employee of the institution and wished him happiness with his family in Nepal, good health and long life. The Vice-President strongly recommended that the institution should follow a practice of inviting past employees/colleagues at such occasions as a gesture of acknowledgement towards their past contributions and association to the Institution.
On behalf of the Management the felicitee was honoured with a Shawl and presented a memento.
Mr. Sandeep Deshpande, Accountant presented the felicitee with a plaque offered by the Directorate of Higher Education.
Ms. Rozena Corriea and Mr. Saprem Shirvoikar delivered a heartfelt poem and shayari respectively as an expression of affection and appreciation towards the felicitee
An audio-visual, compiled by Ms. Rozena and Mr. Abhijit Rege, System Administrator, showcasing the family life and professional journey on the felicitee was played at the occasion.
The programme was compered by Ms. Yamini Dalvi.
The farewell and felicitation ended with a vote of thanks proposed by the Head of the Institution, Mr. Shreeharsha Inavalli. The Management, Governing Council, Directorate of Higher Education, Principal, Organiser, Compere all were individually thanked for their contribution and other for their presence and attendance
